Herbal Baked Eggs

- 1 teaspoon of butter shopping list
- 3 teaspoons of heavy cream shopping list
- 1 large egg, fresh as possible shopping list
- 2 teaspoons of soft herbed chevre or boursin cheese shopping list
- fresh ground pepper shopping list
- chopped chives or parsley shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to a hot 450 degrees.
- Place the butter and the cream in a 3/4 cup custard cup.
- Break the egg into the center.
- Dot with cheese and use remaining cream on top.
- Place in small square baking dish and fill it with boiling water, less than halfway.
- Bake in oven for 7 to 10 minutes, til the egg reaches your level of desired doneness.
- Serve sprinkled with herb of choice.
- Bake a few slices of proscuitto on a slightly oiled baking sheet for the five minutes or so, to crisp but not burnt.
- Eat and enjoy your fancy breakfast.
