How to make it

  • Peel the turnips and cut in half, then slice.
  • Cut the pear in half, Core and cut in slices.
  • Melt the butter in a large skillet and saute the turnips until golden about 7 minutes.
  • Add the pears and the shallots.
  • Cook another 4 minutes or so to soften the shallots.
  • Add the walnuts and cook until heated through, about 2 minutes.
  • Season with a pinch or two of salt, some grinds of black pepper.
  • Drizzle with honey and top with crumbled blue cheese and chopped parsley and serve.
