Turnip And Pear Saute

- 1 pound of turnips about 4 of them shopping list
- 3 ripe but still firm pears shopping list
- 4 tablespoons of butter shopping list
- 2 shallots shopping list
- 1/2 cup of walnut halves shopping list
- 1 tbsp of honey shopping list
- 1/3 cup of crumbled blue cheese shopping list
- chopped fresh parsley shopping list
How to make it
- Peel the turnips and cut in half, then slice.
- Cut the pear in half, Core and cut in slices.
- Melt the butter in a large skillet and saute the turnips until golden about 7 minutes.
- Add the pears and the shallots.
- Cook another 4 minutes or so to soften the shallots.
- Add the walnuts and cook until heated through, about 2 minutes.
- Season with a pinch or two of salt, some grinds of black pepper.
- Drizzle with honey and top with crumbled blue cheese and chopped parsley and serve.
