How to make it

  • Make white sauce-melt butter in pan, add flour. Stir. Slowly add milk, stirring constantly. Cook until thickened.
  • Brown 1 1/2 cups crumbs in 2 T butter. Place 1/2 crumbs in the bottom of a casserole dish. Add cooked asparagus and chopped eggs. Pour white sauce over and sprinkle with the rest of the crumbs.
  • Bake 350 for 1/2 hour.
