How to make it

  • Heat oil in a saucepan.
  • Add the onions and stir-fry until golden brown. Remove the onions from the pan, set aside.
  • Blend fried onion and yogurt together.
  • Add chicken,black pepper,cloves,cardamoms and ginger garlic paste to the oil and fry on a high flame till golden brown.
  • Lower flame.Add onion and yogurt paste,coriander,red chilli and salt.
  • Stir to mix well.
  • Cook on medium heat and stir occasionaly till chicken is tender.
  • Stir-fry till oil separates from gravy.
  • Add cream and mix.
  • Add garam masala,almonds and leave on low flame for 5 minutes,covered.
  • Serve hot.

    I feel lucky to get any cardamom at all, so I don't know what the difference is between the large and small which both occur here.
    I'd love to try this one. Sounds wonderful.
