Mughlai Chicken Quorma

- 1/2 cup oil/ghee shopping list
- 1 large onion,finely sliced shopping list
- 8-10 black peppers shopping list
- 6-8 cloves shopping list
- 3 large cardamoms shopping list
- 2-3 small cardamoms shopping list
- 500 g chicken shopping list
- 1/2 tbsp ginger garlic paste shopping list
- 2 tbsp ground coriander shopping list
- 1 tbsp red chilli powder shopping list
- 1 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 1 cup yogurt shopping list
- 1/4 cup cream shopping list
- 1 tsp garam masala shopping list
- 10 almonds ,blanched and skin removed shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oil in a saucepan.
- Add the onions and stir-fry until golden brown. Remove the onions from the pan, set aside.
- Blend fried onion and yogurt together.
- Add chicken,black pepper,cloves,cardamoms and ginger garlic paste to the oil and fry on a high flame till golden brown.
- Lower flame.Add onion and yogurt paste,coriander,red chilli and salt.
- Stir to mix well.
- Cook on medium heat and stir occasionaly till chicken is tender.
- Stir-fry till oil separates from gravy.
- Add cream and mix.
- Add garam masala,almonds and leave on low flame for 5 minutes,covered.
- Serve hot.
