Haleyang Ube

- 1 - kilo fresh ube (purple jam) shopping list
- 11/2 - cups sugar shopping list
- 3 - cups milk shopping list
How to make it
- Peel the ube and boil until tender. Grate or mash enough ube to make 3 3 cups. Put mashed ube into a heavy saucepan or wok.
- Add the sugar and the milk. Mix well. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly to prevent scorching.
- Cook until thick and of even texture, about 30 minutes or so.
