How to make it

  • Peel the ube and boil until tender. Grate or mash enough ube to make 3 3 cups. Put mashed ube into a heavy saucepan or wok.
  • Add the sugar and the milk. Mix well. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly to prevent scorching.
  • Cook until thick and of even texture, about 30 minutes or so.

    This sounds interesting.... what do you use the jam on? I bought a pouch of mashed ube - would this recipe be something I can use it in??
