How to make it

  • In food processor combine raisins and walnuts.
  • Blend until well blended and moist.
  • Make sure raisins come out looking like a fudgy mixture and not grainy.
  • Remove from processor and mold onto a plate in a round circle.
  • In food processor combine dates and lemon juice until smooth and creamy.
  • Spread this mixture on top of the torte.
