Cabbage Casserole Recipe
Cabbage and meatballs is light and great when you don't know what else to cook. Easy to make for those with little time on their hands and picky eaters in the home.

Ingredients
  • 1 large head of cabbage
  • 1 lb lean hamburger
  • 1 can veg-all (with the liquid)
  • 3 cubes beef bouillon
  • 1 cup boiling water

Directions
  1. Boil cabbage until desired texture. (I like to stir fry mine)
  2. Drain water from cabbage.
  3. Take the hamburger and make 1 to 1 1/2 inch balls.
  4. Fry in a skillet until center is brown.
  5. Drain the fat from skillet.
  6. Add water, bouillon cubes, and veg-all.
  7. Simmer about 15 minutes.
  8. On individual plates or casserole dish place the cabbage on bottom and add meatball mixture to the top.
  9. ***Perfect with cornbread for that southern, comfort food***
