Moms Salpicao Recipe

Moms Salpicao Recipe
My mom used to make this whenever we had sudden guests. I placed 4 hours as an ideal marinating time but as little as 1 hour is ok if you're tight with time.

Ingredients
  • About 1 head garlic - peeled and chopped
  • olive oil
  • tenderloin cut into 3/4″ chunks, about 1-2 pounds, you can also use any marbled soft beef cut
  • seasoning like Knorr seasoning
  • worchestershire sauce

Directions
  1. Mix 1/3 worchestershire sauce and 2/3 seasoning (about a cup to a cup and a half total sauce) marinate beef in it for 4 hours (do not marinate more than 12 hours or it will be much too salty)
  2. Heat oil in pan or wok, put garlic in, toast garlic until light golden brown. Set aside.
  3. When oil is smoking place beef in pan. Toss around until meat is seared (I prefer doing this for a short time only as I like my meat tender and slightly bloody)
  4. When meat is almost at the state you want to eat it in, pour sauce into pan.
  5. Mix beef and sauce a bit. Bring to a boil.
  6. Place on serving dish, top with fried garlic.
