This is a recipe I obtained from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Crawford Estate in Quinlan, Texas in 1982.

Ingredients
  • 5 gallons cold water
  • 1 quart molasses
  • 1 quart vinegar
  • 2 heaping tablespoons ground ginger
  • 1 heaping tablespoon baking soda

Directions
  1. Stir thoroughly and serve.
