Beef Kurma

- 2 tbsp. - cooking oil shopping list
- 2 tbsp. - chopped garlic shopping list
- 1/4 cup - chopped onions shopping list
- 1 tbsp. - chooped turmeric shopping list
- 1/2 kg. - beef campo, cut into cubes shopping list
- 1 liter - beef broth shopping list
- 2 tsp. - curry powder shopping list
- 1 pc. - star anise shopping list
- 2 pcs. - lemon grass bulb, crushed shopping list
- 1/4 cup - crunchy peanut butter shopping list
- 1/2 cup - tomato paste shopping list
- 2 cups - coconut milk shopping list
- 1 cup - potatoes, cubed and fried shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oil. Saute garlic and onion until limp. Add turmeric, beef.
- Cook beef until it changes color. Pour in beef broth and bring to a boil. Simmer over very low heat until beef is tender
- Add curry powder, star anise and lemon grass, followed by peanut butter and tomato paste.
- Discard lemon grass and pour in coconut milk.
- continue cooking over low heat for another 5 minutes. Add fried potatoes.
- Seson with salt and pepper to taste.
