I told you I had a bunch of sugar cookie recipes. Sugar cookies are my husbands favorite.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup butter not margarine, softened
  • 1 (3 oz) pkg cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp almond extract
  • 2 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda

Directions
  1. cream butter and cream cheese. add sugar and egg
  2. add dry ingredients, mixing well. add extracts.
  3. bake 375 degrees 8 - 10 minutes or until golden
  4. cool 2 minutes before taking off the ungreased cookie shet
