This puts a spicy and zesty spin on the pizza front.

Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground sirloin
  • 1 pound ground sausage
  • 1/2 cup white onion chopped fine
  • 1/2 cup green peppers
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 15 ounce can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • Small box corn bread mix
  • 1 cup finely grated Mozzarella cheese

Directions
  1. Brown sirloin, sausage, onion and green peppers the drain well.
  2. Add garlic, tomato sauce, chili powder, oregano, salt and pepper and cook for 15 minutes.
  3. Mix cornbread as it says on box then pour in a long greased pan.
  4. Spread meat mixture over cornbread and bake at 400 for 15 minutes.
  5. Take out and sprinkle cheese on top.
  6. Bake 10 minutes more.
