How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a large deep baking dish. Mix all ingredients (except almonds) well. Place in baking dish and bake for approximately 35 - 45 minutes. Add the slivered almonds to the top of the dip for the last 15 minutes. Serve with bread, tortillas, crackers, or veggies.

    It is worth the extra ingredients :) You can tailor it to fit your own tastes also. Different cheeses, more garlic, etc. I hope you like it.

    Sounds good, love this type dip. Your recipe has much more ingredients then the normal dip I've tried before. Can hardly wait to try yours, thanks for sharing.

    This sounds similar one I threw together without a specific recipe, (combining a few to try and get what I wanted), but needed something...the heavy cream is what it needed! So glad you posted!! I will try it this way this weekend! Thanks so much!! (A little chopped tomato on top right before serving is good, too!). Never thought about freezing it, either! Great idea! : )
