Cranberry-Orange Sauce

- 1/2 cup water shopping list
- 1/2 cup orange juice shopping list
- 1 cup granulated sugar shopping list
- 1 pound bag of whole cranberries shopping list
- 2 tbsp. grated orange rind shopping list
How to make it
- Combine water, orange juice and sugar in a saucepan and heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
- Add the cranberries, bring to a boil and cook 3 to 5 minutes stirring occasionally until the skins of the berries begin to pop and the berries are tender but not mushy. Do not overcook them.
- Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the orange rind.
- Transfer the mixture to a serving bowl, let cool, and then chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
