Raspberry Hasty Cake

- 2 cups sifted flour shopping list
- 3 teaspoons baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 tablespoon sugar shopping list
- 1/4 cup shortening shopping list
- 1 cup milk shopping list
- Melted butter shopping list
- 1 cup fresh raspberries shopping list
- 3/4 cup small chunk maple sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Sift together first 4 ingredients.
- Cut in shortening with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse meal.
- Add milk and mix only until all flour is dampened.
- Spread into a well greased skillet or pan then brush top with melted butter.
- Spread raspberries over top then sprinkle with chunk maple sugar.
- Bake for 20 minutes at 450.
