It started out as a chili and just kept evolving into more of a taco style soup but I think it's a good mix of the two dishes.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 lb ground turkey
  • 1 Tbsp garlic, minced
  • 1/2 small onion, chopped
  • 15 oz can tomatoes, diced
  • 15 oz can corn
  • 15oz can kidney beans
  • 2 oz green chilis, chopped
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp Chili powder
  • 2 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • Freshly chopped cilantro
  • Tortilla Chips

Directions
  1. Brown turkey with garlic and onion in pot over medium heat.
  2. Add rest of ingredients (reserving a little cilantro) and simmer, uncovered for 15 min.
  3. Top with rest of cilantro and a dollop of sour cream (if desired).
  4. Serve with chips. ( I like to use the chips to scoop up the "chili" but my dad likes to break 'em up and put them on top)

Looks good hon.

I love this recipe. I really like the ground turkey in it! But not quite so much red pepper flakes for me!!!
