long life noodles are very thin and very very long, chinese believe that when you eat this on bithdays your life would be longer :)

Ingredients
  • 2 portions of chinese long life noodles
  • 1 cup of cold water
  • 3 tbs of lard
  • 2 shallot, minced
  • scallion, finely sliced

Directions
  1. in medium heat saute shallot with lard until fragant
  2. when water boils put noodles , stir, cook until boils again
  3. add 1/2 cup of cold water, when it boils again add another 1/2 cup of cold water, when it boils again, drain
  4. mix noodles with shallot and lard mixture, garnish with scallion
  5. ps: chinese long life noodles are very salty so you don't need to use salt in this recipe

I know that lard is bad, but I wouldn't use butter, it's better to use olive oil
