Cheese Filled Beef Roll Recipe
An easy, throw-together, make any substitutions kind of recipe. Kids love it!

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
  • 2 T. barbecue sauce (I use steak sauce)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 c. dry bread crumbs
  • 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
  • 2 T. water.

Directions
  1. Combine meat, 1/4 c. bread crumbs, sauce, egg and salt
  2. Mix well.
  3. Put meat mixture into 14" x 8" rectangle on waxed paper.
  4. Combine cheese, 1/4 c. bread crumbs, green pepper and water.
  5. Pagt cheese mixture over meat.
  6. Roll up jelly roll fashion.
  7. Chill several hours or overnight.
  8. Bake at 350 degrees in shallow pan for 25-35 minutes.
  9. Have fun, play around with added ingredients!
