Indonesian Noodles

- 1 can broth shopping list
- 1/2 stick butter shopping list
- ~ 3/4 tsp celery Seed. shopping list
- ~ pinch Crushed red pepper ("pizza pepper") shopping list
- ~ pinch of Chinese 5-Spice Powder shopping list
- 1 Tbsp. Ketyap (homemade) * shopping list
- handful sliced green onions (~1/4-1/3 cup) shopping list
- Regular krinkley egg noodles shopping list
- Optional : 1-2 Tbsp. peanut butter. shopping list
How to make it
- (Using smaller Corning "Visions" sauce pan with cover.)
- - Add all ingred.
- - Bring broth to boil.
- - Add noodles to 1/3 again OVER the water level (steam cooks)
- - COVER.
- - Stir frequently, lowering the heat gradully as the noodles soften.
- - Cook until most all the liquid is absorbed and turns into sauce.
- * KETYAP:
- In saucepan, heat :
- 1/2 cup Light Soy Sauce
- 1/4 cup Dark Molasses
- 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
- Stir until melted, then refrigerate.
