Cowboy Candy Recipe
These are so yummy! We bottle them up and give as gifts. Serve over cream cheese with crackers or along side roasted turkey or chicken

Ingredients
  • 1 quart pickled sliced jalapenos
  • 1 bag of sugar

Directions
  1. Drain and thoroughly rinse jalapenos in cold water.
  2. Drain in a collandar several times and place jalapenos in a glass container and cover with as much sugar as it will hold.
  3. Let sit for several day (up to a week) or until sugar turns to syrup.
  4. Flip daily to mix syrup and peppers (add more sugar if needed).
  5. Add food coloring drops if seasonal look is desired.
