you can use apple, blueberry, peach.....whatever pie filling you would like

Ingredients
  • 1 cup margarine
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 can cherry pie filling

Directions
  1. in a mixing bowl, cream margarine and sugar. add eggs
  2. beat until light and fluffly
  3. add vanilla
  4. stir in flour and baking powder
  5. mix until smooth
  6. spray a 9 x 13 pan with cooking spray
  7. turn the mixture into the pan
  8. spoon pie filing onto the cake in 16 spots, spacing 4 spoonfuls in each direction
  9. bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes or until golden and cake tests done.
  10. filling will sink into the cake while baking
  11. serve warm
