Ingredients

How to make it

  • in a mixing bowl, cream margarine and sugar. add eggs
  • beat until light and fluffly
  • add vanilla
  • stir in flour and baking powder
  • mix until smooth
  • spray a 9 x 13 pan with cooking spray
  • turn the mixture into the pan
  • spoon pie filing onto the cake in 16 spots, spacing 4 spoonfuls in each direction
  • bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes or until golden and cake tests done.
  • filling will sink into the cake while baking
  • serve warm
