Wet Bottom Shoo Fly Pie

- 1 cup flour shopping list
- 3/4 cup brown sugar shopping list
- 1-1/2 tablespoons shortening shopping list
- 1 cup molasses shopping list
- 1 egg beaten shopping list
- 1 teaspoon baking soda shopping list
- 1 cup boiling water shopping list
- 1 deep dish 9" pie shell shopping list
How to make it
- Mix flour, sugar and shortening until crumbly.
- Save 1/2 cup for the top.
- Mix remaining crumbs with molasses, egg and baking soda dissolved in water.
- Pour this mixture into unbaked pie shell and sprinkle crumbs on top.
- Bake at 375 for 45 minutes.
