Tried and true. Very creamy and very tasty. This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Dimmer Estate in Rockwall, Texas in 1994.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 2/3 cup ketchup
  • Juice of one lemon
  • 2/3 cup honey
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 medium white onion grated
  • 1 clove garlic

Directions
  1. Combine all ingredients except garlic in place in a jar.
  2. Place garlic clove on a toothpick and drop into jar.
  3. Shake and refrigerate overnight before serving.
