Liver Dumplings for soup

- 1Lb. beef liver (pureed) shopping list
- 1 Tbl. butter shopping list
- 1 tsp. dried marjoram ( crushed) shopping list
- 1 tsp. sage ( crushed) shopping list
- 1 clove Garlic Minced shopping list
- 1/4 tsp salt shopping list
- 2 eggs ( beaten) shopping list
- 1 tsp. dried parsley shopping list
- crushed saltine crackers to make mixture workable ( About 1 & 1/2 C) shopping list
How to make it
- Mix all ingredients together . Mixture should be stiff enough to allow to make into small ( 1 -1 1/2 inch balls )
- Drop into boiling water . Cook for about 10 minutes( cut into one to check for doneness.
- Remove to paper towels to drain off excess water.
- These can be frozen for 2 months.
- To use Bring soup ( chicken broth) to a boil and drop in the dumplings cook sufficiently to heat the dumplings and serve approximately 2-3 per cup or bowl.
