Greek Flavor Bread

- 3 cups Bisquick baking mix shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 1 1/2 cup buttermilk shopping list
- 3 cups crumbled feta cheese (flavored or reduced fat if you prefer), divided shopping list
- 1 cup frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained shopping list
- 1/4 cup butter, melted shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a jelly roll pan or baking sheet with foil and then grease the foil. Set aside.
- In a medium bowl, mix baking mix, eggs, and buttermilk until combined.
- Mix in 1 cup of feta and all the spinach.
- Spread dough mixture evenly in the foil lined pan. Drizzle melted butter over dough, and then crumble the remaining feta over the mixture. You can sprinkle some salt over the pan as well to add a little more oomph.
- Bake 35-40 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let cool 10-15 minutes, then pull the entire loaf out and transfer to a cutting board. Remove foil. Using a pizza cutter, cut into bite sized squares.
- Serve with simple marinara sauce.
