Ingredients
  • 3 Tbsp. margarine
  • 4 medium potatoes, sliced
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 small green pepper, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder

Directions
  1. Melt margarine in skillet on medium heat. Add potatoes; sprinkle on onions, green pepper, salt , black pepper, garlic.
  2. Cover skillet and cook until potatoes are tender, stirring occasionally. Add more oions, black pepper if desired

We make this down here and call it smothered potatoes. We always serve it with hot biscuits and sausage. Either for breakfast or supper. My family loves it.
