Ingredients
  • 2 pork knuckle, cut each knuckle into 6 pieces
  • 3 tbs oil
  • 3 cups of soy sauce
  • 1 cup of rock sugar
  • 3 cups of rice wine
  • 2 cups of garlic
  • 1 piece of cinnamon
  • 6 star anise
  • water
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions
  1. heat oil, saute garlic until fragant
  2. add soy sauce and rock sugar until caramelize add cinnamon, and star anise
  3. add pork, coat each pieces of pork knuckle evenly, add rice wine
  4. add water, salt and pepper cook until soft, and sauce reduced
  5. taste, serve
