MUGHLAI GOBHI PANEER LABABDAR Recipe
This dish is new creation. Never any one tried caluliflower and paneer together. It is excellant and testy.

Ingredients
  • Paneer (cottage cheese) 200 grm
  • 2. Gobhi florets (Cauliflower) 350 grms
  • 3. Poppy seeds 2 tbl spoon
  • 4. Cashew nuts 2 tbl spoon
  • 5. Tomatoes medium size 5
  • 6. Curd 1 cup
  • 7. Ginger 1” piece
  • 8. Green chilies 4
  • 9. Oil 2 tbl spoon and for deep frying
  • 10 Haldi powder 1 tsp
  • 11 Red Chile powder 1 tsp
  • 12 Coriander powder 1 tbl spoon
  • 13 Salt to taste
  • 14 Garam Masala powder 1 tsp
  • 15 juice of one lemon

Directions
  1. 1 Cut cottage cheese in reasonably small pieces and deep fry. Deep-fry the cauliflower florets. Thereafter in the same oil. Keep aside.
  2. 2 Make paste of poppy seeds, cashew nuts, ginger and green chilies.
  3. 3 Make puree of the tomatoes strain and keep aside.
  4. 4 Now heat the oil in a kadahi. Add some zeera when it chages colour add cashe and poppy seed paste and fry for 3-4 minutes till it changes color.
  5. 5 Add tomatoes puree, coriander powder, haldi and red chilies powder and fry till oil separates.
  6. 6 Add strained curd and fry for 2-3 minutes add 1 cup water and let it boil.
  7. 7 Add deep fried cauliflower and paneer, salt, lemon juice and cook for 4-5 minutes.
  8. 8 Add garam masala and cook for another 2 minutes. Add coriander leaves and serve hot with Nan, Roti or Rice

How do you cut and deep fry cottage cheese?


Cottage Chese is the pressed curdled Milk. It is available at any Indian store in a brick form. You can cut it with a sharp knife in small pieces and then deep fry in a non stick round bottom pan till it gains little color. Donot over fry.
