How to make it

  • 1 Cut cottage cheese in reasonably small pieces and deep fry. Deep-fry the cauliflower florets. Thereafter in the same oil. Keep aside.
  • 2 Make paste of poppy seeds, cashew nuts, ginger and green chilies.
  • 3 Make puree of the tomatoes strain and keep aside.
  • 4 Now heat the oil in a kadahi. Add some zeera when it chages colour add cashe and poppy seed paste and fry for 3-4 minutes till it changes color.
  • 5 Add tomatoes puree, coriander powder, haldi and red chilies powder and fry till oil separates.
  • 6 Add strained curd and fry for 2-3 minutes add 1 cup water and let it boil.
  • 7 Add deep fried cauliflower and paneer, salt, lemon juice and cook for 4-5 minutes.
  • 8 Add garam masala and cook for another 2 minutes. Add coriander leaves and serve hot with Nan, Roti or Rice

    Cottage Chese is the pressed curdled Milk. It is available at any Indian store in a brick form. You can cut it with a sharp knife in small pieces and then deep fry in a non stick round bottom pan till it gains little color. Donot over fry.
