Turkey And Wild Rice Bake Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 package wild and whte rice mix
  • 2 1/3 cup water
  • 1 can (4 oz) mushrooms, drained
  • 1 can (14 oz) artichoke hearts, quartered
  • 1 jar (2 oz) pimientos, chopped and drained
  • 2 cups cooked turkey, cooked
  • 1 cup swiss cheese, shredded

Directions
  1. In a quart casserole, combine rice with seasoning packet and water.
  2. Stir in mushrooms, artichoke hearts, pimientos and turkey.
  3. (casserole may be covered and refrigerated for up to 24 hours)
  4. Cover with foil and bakeat 350 for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until liquid is absorbed.
  5. Top with cheese. Bake uncovered, 5-10 additional minutes or until cheese is melted and golden brown

I would have to use fresh mushrooms-canned ones taste O.K. but don't like the texture. This sounds good. Thanks.


I make for my husband.....I hate mushrooms. So canned is ok for me.
