Pollys Shrimp Stew

- Liquids: shopping list
- 2 tbsp oil shopping list
- 2 cups water shopping list
- Fresh Veggies: shopping list
- 3 large onions coarsely chopped shopping list
- 1 1/2 bell pepper coarsely chopped shopping list
- 2 tbsp chopped garlic shopping list
- 3 sprigs of celery coarsely chopped shopping list
- Canned foods: shopping list
- 2 med. cans chopped tomatoes shopping list
- 2 med. cans sliced mushrooms shopping list
- 1 small can tomato paste mixed with shopping list
- 1 can beef stock shopping list
- Seafood: shopping list
- 4 lbs shrimp (Or any combination of seafood) shopping list
- Dry Seasoning: shopping list
- basil, onion & garlic powder, salt & pepper to taste shopping list
- 2 tbsp sugar (optional) shopping list
How to make it
- Saute' fresh veggies in oil until translucent.
- In large stock pot heat all canned foods.
- Transfer sauted veggies into stock pot.
- Saute seafood in same pan fresh veggies were saute'ed in, until just done.
- Transfer to stock pot.
- Add dry seasoning.
- Add water.
- Bring to boil, reduce heat to medium, cover and simmer for 1 hour.
- This is great over rice, pasta, or potatoes boiled or mashed
- Also great made with a shrimp, crab, and crawfish combo.

Good stuff! Love it. Very similar to one I do, but I use shrimp stock instead of beef. Gotta put it over rice. And sop up that sauce.
