How to make it

  • 1. Add tomatoes to slow cooker, turn to high
  • 2. Add oregano, cumin, spinach and vinegar to slow cooker
  • 3. Heat oil over med-high heat in skillet
  • 4. Salt and pepper lamb, add to skillet and quickly saute until meat is cooked to your liking (medium for me)
  • 5. Add lamb, with oil, to slow cooker
  • 6. Add onions, garlic, carrots and mushrooms to skillet - cook until carrots are crisp-tender (about 8 minutes), add to slow cooker
  • 7. Cook on High for 90 minutes, taste add salt/pepper as needed

    This recipe sounds real tasty and I am going to try it tonight for supper. However, in the directions it doesn't say when to add the lentils, or the size of the bag? Thanks for the recipe!
