Little Hot Nutty Cheese Wafers

Old Recipe. Little cheese wafers with pecans and cayenne pepper. Oh, yes, they are very tasty. You can't eat just one. Great for buffets, parties, or just snacking.
Ingredients
- 8 ounces grated sharp cheese shopping list
- 1 stick unsalted butter shopping list
- 1 cup flour shopping list
- pinch of salt shopping list
- 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon (or to taste) cayenne pepper (I like hot) shopping list
- 1 cup chopped pecans shopping list
How to make it
- In large bowl, cream cheese and butter well
- Add flour, salt, red pepper and nuts
- Roll into a log
- Cover and chill
- Slice and place on cookie sheet
- Bake in 350 degree oven for 12-15 minutes
- NOTE: These make wonderful gifts, and they are also great with soups
