How to make it

  • Bring whine, water, garlic, spices to the boil.
  • Put in the mussels.
  • Stir lightly.
  • Simmer for 15-20 minutes until all the mussels have opened.
  • Spoon the mussels out into a bowl.
  • Pour the liquid into a clean pot.
  • Stir in the cream.
  • Put back the mussels.
  • Let it simmer until it start to thicken.
  • If it isn't thick enough, thicken with some cornstarch.
  • Pour into a bowl.
  • Garnish with parsley.
  • Serve.
