Mussel Pot clam soup

- 200 ml semi-sweet white wine (3/4 cup) shopping list
- 75 ml water (1/2 cup + 1 tablespoon) shopping list
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped shopping list
- 5 ml fish spice (1 teaspoon) shopping list
- salt shopping list
- blackpepper shopping list
- 36 black mussels (clams) washed and scrubbed shopping list
- 500 ml fresh cream (2 cups) shopping list
- parsley (optional) shopping list
How to make it
- Bring whine, water, garlic, spices to the boil.
- Put in the mussels.
- Stir lightly.
- Simmer for 15-20 minutes until all the mussels have opened.
- Spoon the mussels out into a bowl.
- Pour the liquid into a clean pot.
- Stir in the cream.
- Put back the mussels.
- Let it simmer until it start to thicken.
- If it isn't thick enough, thicken with some cornstarch.
- Pour into a bowl.
- Garnish with parsley.
- Serve.
