Seitan Stroganoff Recipe

Ingredients
  • 8 oz sliced mushrooms
  • 1 package White Wave seitan- drained and sliced
  • vegan margarine - 1/4 cup
  • Tofutti better than sour cream - (1) 16oz container

Directions
  1. Melt vegan margarine in skillet over low heat.
  2. Add sliced seitan and saute until it begins to brown.
  3. Add sliced mushrooms and continue sauteeing until mushrooms are tender.
  4. Remove skillet from heat and stir in Tofutti "sour cream"
  5. Return skillet to very low flame and heat until warmed through.
  6. Season with salt and pepper and serve over brown rice.
