How to make it

  • Soak the almonds overnight.
  • Grind the almonds to a paste using milk.
  • Heat the butter in a heavy bottomed vessel, add the almond paste and sugar.
  • Keep mixing this mixture on low heat till it starts leaving the sides of the vessel.
  • Remove from heat and spread on a greased tray and allow it to cool.
  • After it cools , you can cut it out into desired shapes.
