Connies Sauerkraut Balls

- 1 pound sweet sausage shopping list
- 1 pound hot sausage shopping list
- 1 teaspoon parsley (optional) shopping list
- 1 can (27 oz) sauerkraut, drained shopping list
- 8 tablespoons bread crumbs shopping list
- 1 large onion, diced shopping list
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder or garlic salt shopping list
- salt and pepper, to taste shopping list
- 2 pkgs (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened shopping list
How to make it
- Brown sausages and onion; drain. Add rest of ingredients and mix well. Let sit 1 hour. Shape in balls, roll in flour, dip in egg and milk mixture (about 4 eggs and a little milk), then roll in bread crumbs. Deep fry until brown, approximately 5 minutes.

I can't wait to make this next week. Mmmm, my mouth is watering. Remember when I thought sweet sausage meant "SWEET" and I bought maple sausage and completely RUINED the saurkraut balls?? Ugh. We both know I'll never make THAT mistake again!
