Sherried Pheasant Casserole Recipe
The serving size depends on the size of the pheasant

Ingredients
  • 1 cleaned and dressed pheasant
  • 2 tbsp margarine
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/4 can milk
  • 1/2 cup sherry

Directions
  1. Clean and dress pheasant. Cut into serving size.
  2. Saute in butter or margarine until well browned. Place in greased casserole dish.
  3. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, add can of mushroom soup. Add ,o;l amd sherry.
  4. Cover and bake at 375 degrees for an hour or until tender.

I CAN'T GET PHEASANT!!!!!!!! When I was a kid I was the bird dog out in front. A wonder we didn't get shot. Then down to the basement to clean and pick out the bird shot!!!!!!! The good old days in Iowa and South Dakota!!!!!!
