- 1.5kg uncooked king prawns shopping list
- 2 tbs cooking oil shopping list
- 1 large (200g) onion, sliced shopping list
- masala paste
- 2/3 cup firmly packed fresh coriander leaves shopping list
- 1/3 cup firmly packed fresh mint leaves shopping list
- 2 tbs water shopping list
- 2 tbs sesame oil shopping list
- 2 cloves chopped garlic shopping list
- 1 tbs chopped fresh ginger shopping list
- 2 tbs white vinegar shopping list
- 1 tsp ground turmeric shopping list
- 1 tsp ground cumin shopping list
- 1 tsp chilli powder shopping list
- 1 tsp ground fennel shopping list
- 1/2 tsp ground cardamom shopping list
- 1 tsp salt or to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Shell and devein prawns, leaving the tails intact.
- Heat cooking oil; cook onion, stirring, until browned lightly.
- Add masala paste ; cook, stirring, until fragrant. Stir in prawns; cook about 5 minutes or until tender.
