How to make it

  • Layer the above ingredients
  • Place in refrigerator for 1 hour.
  • When ready to serve, crush 1 bag of Frito's Corn chips and toss into salad with bottle of Catalina dressing.
  • At the time my Grandmother made this regularly, the bag of chips cost 59 cents. This shows just how long this recipe has been around.

    Hee Hee! Longhorn cheese is a cheddar cheese sold in chunk form. Must be a Kansas thing.
