Velvet Lunch Cake Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 Cup butter or "Spry"
  • 1 Cup sugar
  • 1 C sour milk
  • 1egg
  • 1 tsp soda
  • 1 tsp cloves
  • 1tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 2 Tbl corn syrup OR molasses
  • Raisins if desired

Directions
  1. Sift dry ingredients and set aside.
  2. Cream butter and sugar together till creamy,add egg and beat,add corn syrup or molasses and combine well.
  3. Add sour cream and beat just till mixed.
  4. Fold in dry ingredients followed by raisins.Bake for 50 minutes on a preheated oven 350 F.
  5. I would say you'd need a 9x13 pan, 3 and about 30 minutes in the oven or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean

Hi Pat,this is really fun,what about this??
