How to make it

  • Carefully roll each link of sausage into thawed sheet of puffed pastry
  • Then pinch together ends of pastry so that sausage is completely encased
  • Place on baking sheet or sheet pan that has been covered in parchment paper
  • In bowl, whisk together egg and water to make thin egg wash
  • Brush wash onto outside of each puffed pastry cylinder
  • Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 minutes, or until golden brown
  • Allow the sausage/pastry to cool, then cut into one inch slices and arrange on large platter
  • Serve at room temperature or warm with honey mustard sauce
