Dallas Special Christmas Cake Old

Old recipe, very easy, delicious. Combine ingredients with Eagle Brand milk, bake at 250 for one hour. Nice for Christmas.
Ingredients
- 1 pound candied cherries shopping list
- 1 large can crushed pineapple shopping list
- 1 pound dates shopping list
- 4 cups coarsely chopped pecans shopping list
- 1 can Angle flake coconut shopping list
- 1 can Eagle Brand milk shopping list
How to make it
- In large bowl, mix all ingredients together
- Stir gently until mixed well
- Pour into a *well-greased* tube pan
- Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour
- Cool on wire rack for a little while, then loosen sides of cake and remove from pan
- When cooled completely, wrap in heavy duty aluminum foil
