Dallas Special Christmas Cake Old Recipe
Old recipe, very easy, delicious. Combine ingredients with Eagle Brand milk, bake at 250 for one hour. Nice for Christmas.

Ingredients
  • 1 pound candied cherries
  • 1 large can crushed pineapple
  • 1 pound dates
  • 4 cups coarsely chopped pecans
  • 1 can Angle Flake coconut
  • 1 can Eagle Brand milk

Directions
  1. In large bowl, mix all ingredients together
  2. Stir gently until mixed well
  3. Pour into a *well-greased* tube pan
  4. Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour
  5. Cool on wire rack for a little while, then loosen sides of cake and remove from pan
  6. When cooled completely, wrap in heavy duty aluminum foil
