Ingredients
  • 2 pkgs devil's food cake mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups solid shortening
  • .
  • Frosting:
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 pound powdered sugar
  • little milk

Directions
  1. Mix cake mix, eggs, and shortening by hand. Batter will be very stiff. Roll into small balls and place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes. When cool, put 2 cookies together with fosting.
  2. to make frosting: mix cream cheeese, powdered sugar and a little milk. You can add a drop of food coloring to make the cookies more festive.
