Chinese Herbs Chicken Soup

- Běi Qí (北芪) 6g* shopping list
- Dǎng shēn (当参) 15g* shopping list
- Huái Shān (淮山) 11g* shopping list
- Wolfberries (枸杞子) 23g shopping list
- Yù Zhú (玉竹) 23g shopping list
- 1.5 litres water shopping list
- 1/2 chicken, skin removed shopping list
- salt (optional) shopping list
How to make it
- Blanch chicken in boiling water for a few minutes. Drain & set aside.
- Boil blanched chicken and the rest of the ingredients in water. After coming to a boil, simmer on low heat for at least an hour. You can also double boil or slow cook.
- Season with salt if necessary. Serve with hot, fluffy rice.
