A delicious colourful salad that adds a lot to a meal and a table.

Ingredients
  • Mixed greens (enough for large salad bowl)
  • One can mandarin oranges
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • pinch of poppy seeds
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp juice from mandarin orange can
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • pinch of salt

Directions
  1. Put washed greens in salad bowl
  2. Mix oil, vinegar, juice, sugar and salt. Pour over salad and toss.
  3. Sprinkle salad with almonds, cranberries and poppy seeds
