Ingredients

How to make it

  • Cook your hashbrown to your liking, as well as the livermush to your liking. (I like both of mine on the "mushy" side)
  • While cooking those, scramble the eggs in a bowl.
  • After the hashbrown and livermush cook, crumble both together in pan and add eggs, salt and pepper.
  • Stir around until egg is cooked through.
  • You can add cheese if you like. I prefer it without. You can substitute sausage or bacon for the livermush.
  • Remember, it looks REALLY gross, so don't be surprised!!

Never heard of Braunschweiger, lol. It's exactly what it sounds like. It's pork liver (other parts I don't want to think about) cornmeal and spices. It's a softish "mush" (lol) smashed together in a cube in a package kind of like sausage. It's a southern US thing. Sometimes I forget to post things like that, lol. Guess I just suppose everyone knows!!
