Breakfast Throw-together Recipe
OK, first of all, this looks REALLY gross. It's great though, lol. Just something I made up messing around.

Ingredients
  • 1 slice livermush (about 1/4" thick or so - not too much, it's overpowering)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 frozen hashbrown patty
  • salt and pepper

Directions
  1. Cook your hashbrown to your liking, as well as the livermush to your liking. (I like both of mine on the "mushy" side)
  2. While cooking those, scramble the eggs in a bowl.
  3. After the hashbrown and livermush cook, crumble both together in pan and add eggs, salt and pepper.
  4. Stir around until egg is cooked through.
  5. You can add cheese if you like. I prefer it without. You can substitute sausage or bacon for the livermush.
  6. Remember, it looks REALLY gross, so don't be surprised!!

Livermush..is that like Braunschweiger? Which I do like. Just never thought of cooking it..

Never heard of Braunschweiger, lol. It's exactly what it sounds like. It's pork liver (other parts I don't want to think about) cornmeal and spices. It's a softish "mush" (lol) smashed together in a cube in a package kind of like sausage. It's a southern US thing. Sometimes I forget to post things like that, lol. Guess I just suppose everyone knows!!
