This is a moist, tender turkey, with traditional stuffing. It's browned to perfection, and makes excellent gravy.

i've never used kosher salt (cannot get it here) but my birds are always crips, golden brown and juicy. i have used apple juice and salt to baste it, then turned the oven up high for just some minutes. great effect!

I've cooked many a turkeys and I know what you mean about Turkey farms in Michigan, my dad use to always order his from one and pick it up on his way home from work, or we'd all go get it on the weekend.
