How to make it

  • Brown ground beef in large skiillet
  • Add in onion and brown with meat
  • Add in garlic and brown with meat
  • Make a well in meat mixture and fill with tomato paste
  • Sear tomato paste, stirring to mix with meat
  • Add in spices and sear with meat mixture
  • Thin beef tomato/beef mixture with white wine
  • Stir in tomato sauce
  • Stir in crushed tomatoes
  • Let simmer for one hour, adding white wine as needed if sauce gets too thick
  • Stir in crushed tomatoes
  • Let simmer for one hour, adding white wine as necessary to thin.
