How to make it

  • Cook tortellini in 4 quarts salted boiling water for 7 minutes until tender and drain.
  • In heavy skillet melt butter over low heat then add tortellini and stir to coat with butter.
  • Add heavy cream and Canadian bacon then cook mixture until cream thickens.
  • Blend in peas, parmesan cheese and pepper then stir until cheese is melted.
  • Serve pasta immediately with a dash of additional parmesan cheese.
