Mock Tuna Alfredo Fettucine Recipe

	Yummers / All my dishes 1 year, 11 months ago I have been making this for awhile now and so enjoy it! I am not crazy abut tuna, but in here it is so good. I am sure you can use chicken, salmon anything really as a substitute!! Prep:15m Servings:4	Yummers

Ingredients

12 oz uncooked fettucine

2 tbsp butter

1-2 cloves garlic minced

1 1/2 cups 1 % milk

1 1/2 tbsp flour

1/3 cup parmesan cheese

1/2 tsp dried basil

1/4 tsp each salt and pepper

1 can of tuna drained

1/4 cup low fat sour cream

3/4 cup frozen peas, thawed

2 tdsp chopped parsley

Directions

Cook your fettucine until al dente. drain and return to pot

While pasta is cooking, prepare the sauce!!

Melt butter in a meduim saucepan.

Add the garlic and saute for 1 minute

Mix the milk and flour together in a small bowl until smooth

Add to the garlic

Increase heat to get a nice simmer and stir until bubbly and thickened about 4-5 minutes

reduce heat to low

stir in parmesan cheese, basil, salt and pepper

cook for 1-2 minutes until cheese is melted

stir in tuna. peas and sour cream

cook until heated through

sprinkle with more parmesan to taste!!
And add 1/4 cup white wine to sauce during simmer...makes it taste much better...
